What is a good recipe to get rid of apples?

My parents brought tons of apples and now they are starting to go ill .. so I am in need of an apple crisp / potato crunch recipe. When I was in high school, I loved when they made a flat apple with a syrupy goo with apples and brown sugar / oat mixture on top: D anyway, if anyone has any favorite recipes for me to try let me know:) thank you! … I need help getting rid of apples from bananas. Thank you.

Apple crumble:) It looks like what you described in your q, heres an image: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1406/1274539231_077ffad20f.jpg Doesn't look appetizing, but believe me, they are realllly nice, just search for apple crumble recipes:) you can also make a basic cheese cake recipe, and add some sauce Apple to it (chop apples, add a little water and a little cinnamon if you like, and let it boil in a saucepan apples and voila, compotes, you can add a little too much sugar) and mix, and you have the apple flavored cheesecake:) Hmm, you could also add a little Greek yoghurt, syrup, applesauce, together and do a little ice cream / sorbet:) mmmm Hope I helped! x
